Main Tab Group

Description

Carlisle Bay is home to six shipwrecks that are close together, making this an ideal site for snorkelers and divers of all levels. You can see rare frog fish and sea horses among a wide range of colourful fish, sponges and corals.

The six wrecks are:

Berwyn in 20 feet of water, sunk in 1919 by its own crew.

C-Trek in 45 feet of water, sunk in 1986.

Eillon in 55 feet of water, sunk in 1996.

Bajan Queen in 35 feet of water, sunk in 2002.

Cornwallis in 15 feet of water, sunk by a torpedo from a German U-Boat in World War II.

Barge in 12 feet of water.

A number of dive shops will take you diving in Carlisle Bay.  Also, several catamarans and pleasure cruises will take you there and let you snorkel over the wrecks.
